We are a family run business located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. We have been involved in the Alaska seafood industry since 1983. Our father came up with the idea of mixing Smoked Salmon with Cheddar Cheese in 2004. One year later we decided to take the idea to one of Wisconsin's finest cheese makers, who then agreed to develop our product. After the first samples were made we asked just about everyone we know to sample the product. The positive response was overwhelming, and thus Captain Black's Seafood was born. We have since teamed up with another award winning cheese maker who carefully select milk from a handfull of dairies within a stones throw of the Sierra mountains.
